You do realize that the stampede going up against a 1/8 scale comp truggy is like a Kia against a bulldozer right? Unlike my HPI bullet that seems to be made of glass. Regardless, I though t you quit RC's??? Me, linn, and Keith have been jamming every weekend!!!

i have a scx-10 and a wraith. both are fun to crawl/putt around with. more scale and less bash but still fun. im a member of the rc tech site, you can find some decent deals on there.

Yes CRCRC is in Hilliard. I used to be a race director there for years until I got into grad school.

 

 

 

For hobby grade RC stuff you pay for what you get. If you are looking to get into it on the cheap I suggest buying used, since people loose their ass on resale.

 

It also depends on what you want to do, that should drive your choice.

On 3 cell it's a mid 50's mph truck. It's a good all around vehicle

The D8T should be capable of 60-65 MPH with a 22T pinion (from 16T)

A few of us from work, go over to the BMX dirt track in Westerville and race around. They cleaned it up last year and it's pretty good time. We have several different cars but the bigger 1/10th scales seem to work a little better there.

This is getting me in the mood to fix mine up and get back out and start bashing again. I have a 2.5 REVO converted to 3.3 and a 2.5 T-Maxx. Neither of them run worth a shit right now. I don't think the REVO will even start.
