Need for Speed movie

Saw this on facebook, didn't know they were making this movie. From the sounds of it they're using high end cars, Bugatti, Porsche Cayenne, Mclaren p1.

Couldn't be any worse than F&F. Will probably download for free and watch half of/10.

A tractor trailer with logs. How original.

 

Hopefully they actually focus on cars and not lame romantic story lines.

They're fakes (much like the physics in the games). There was a set of pictures on Reddit that someone took of the cars, one showing the Koeniggsegg (sp) with a caged seat and controls mounted to the back of the car. None of the vents or grilles in any of the cars have any depth, and none of the cars have fender liners. The movie may have some real examples for beauty shots, but the actual driving will be done with the fakes.

 

Granted, that makes sense. Why risk millions on irreplaceable cars? But it's kinda irksome that they're being reported as the real thing.
