2013 Audi S6 One-step Polish and 22PLE Coating

I got a phone call from a guy down in Kentucky who was looking for some detailing. He explained that he had recently purchased a 2013 Audi S6 but he wasnt happy with the dealer prep or the coating they applied to the car. On his own, he did some research and found out about 22PLE and thought it was the best option to keep his car protected and looking good.

After some discussion we decied to do a light polish on the car to remove any defects before coating the car with 22PLE. So on a saturday he drove 2 hours up to Columbus Ohio, rented a car, and spent the day/night in Columbus while I worked on his car. I was extremely flattered that he came from so far away to have me work on his car so i really wanted him to be impressed.

The car wasnt in that bad of shape but it did have a lot of swirls probably from improper washing. Below is a before picture of the back of the trunk lid.

And here is the after picture. As you can see we made a pretty big difference with just a light polish.

After the polishing was done I coated the entire car (even over the clear bra) with 22PLE. I also coated the plastic trim, exhaust, and face of the wheels.

Once he walked in the garage and saw his car done he was very happy with how it looked. I also informed him that he would be much happier with the performance of this coated compared to the dealer applied coating.

Still too big though..

Yup...I'm pretty sure I'll end up getting an S3 sedan for my next oodi because of it's size. It will look good parked next to the b5. Only problem is that the interior doesn't look that great in the pictures :yuno:

Nice.

I got to drive a 2013 A6 with the 3.0T in it a few weeks ago...awesome car. Can't image how nice this thing must be.

I have one on the lot and love it. Best bang for your buck in a 4 door. This car with a tune would be a monster! My wife is thinking an S3 for herself to replace the GLI. I'm still trying to push the S4, but love all the new stuff coming out on the S3. It is hard to pick the best one.
