Garage Floors.... Who does them?

Looking to finish a large garage area (3600 sq ft)

It needs to be durable so cars can drive on it, etc. I also want it to look nice.

Think something like a garage/showroom.

Any recommendations on who I should call for estimates?

I thought someone on here had a business called something like Rhino floors.

I could be wrong.

Tim, that is AJ. Though I honestly don't know if its his company or he works there? I've not had anything done by him but all the pics online/FB look great.

I belive its aj and his Dad that started and run it.

My father in law did our garage like this with out the flake took him a few days to do it on his own. Didn't seem like would be too hard with a few guys.

Nah it's not that bad really, I have been fortunate enough to grow up around this sort of stuff so I can do most everything on my own. Funny how when I was a kid it was "punishment" for me to have to go work with my dad, now I look back thankfully.

My dad has done some crazy floors from Wonder Bread to Franklin University and the Springfield Air Force Base

Doesn't AJ do this?

I thought AJ did, but he quit the site I assume and I didn't know how to contact him.

Yep, IIRC that is AJs company. I'll try to contact him from the site.

Thanks, I couldnt remember the name until I seen it

You have a larger project than a home garage.

But I rented a floor grinder from lowes and had my paint guys run a 2-part coating over it.

We were going to do it ourselves initially. The more I think about it, the more I realize that kind of work is not my specialty. The money I could make doing what I am actually good at would more than negate any savings attempting to do it myself. Plus I don't have to worry about screwing it up.

Looks good!

Yeh please shoot me his info. I would like a couple quotes atleast.

I worked with these guys about a year ago and the floors turned out great. Guy I worked with was Kenny.

I worked for them for awhile in college. Good guys and the owner is a personal friend. Price is around 3.50 to 5 per square foot depending on options. Lifetime warranty.

My garage is done. If you want pics let me know.

AJs stuff looks awesome too!

AJs stuff is top notch but expect to pay between 4-5 per sq ft, it gets expensive..

youd be at least 15k Id bet

Here is what I used .... less than $2 per sq foot ... creative paints on huntley sells it... I'm using the "light industrial" product

line-x does it. called Aspart-x its a resin and iso 50 mix with chips as a texture coating. you can chose your colors whatever you want. small chips big chips ect. durable as can be. a little pricey. worth it though. Probaly be in the 2-3k range can do designs and shit in it as well. nothing stains it. fuild just whips off it. and hot tires after a long drive you can pull right on it. no worrying about the heat of tires hurting it.

You think that's expensive, call around and get some quotes on having drywall done ;)

Yeah, i have...thats why the drywall in my house just looks mediocre, and not great. Then again, its not a high quality show home, so im ok with it to save the $$. Lol
