Browning
Seems when big forums sell off they die off. Senior members move on while new members join and it struggles along for a bit before becoming a ghost town. Wonder how this is going to go? lag wagon
Not surprised.. tons of forums have been bought up by huge conglomerates over the last few years (Like Internet Brands) http://www.internetbrands.com/our-brands/automotive/ It's harder to find an independent site (like CR) these days

evan9381
i was on a forum when i had my old hyundai elantra (an 03), and my buddy that ran the site sold it off a few years back. there weren't a lot of members, but he said he got a little over $20k for it. i couldn't believe it. seemed like a shit ton for such a small site

-Alex-
Turbobullet.com is moving right along. YB being sold was absolutely a shock to me as well.
OJdidit1738
Turbobullet.com is taking off, yeah did not see yb selling at all. Hopefully the site doesn't turn into a ton of ads. Even though Monty retained all of the rights to the yellow bullet nationals I think this will hurt the turnout.
Captain_Panic1647545539
We lost MR2OC.com a few months back. The company that bought it is raising the yearly vendor cost from $300 to about $1800. Not even kidding. I keyboard warrior'd at them and never went back. I'd hate to have to leave this place too. Got-Boost?
I hope they got a pretty penny for it. Not that they are accurate but the estimated hits site says it's worth $2.5M....lol.
