KillJoy
I want them to encounter a misfire, so they have to clear it and keep engaging the threat. Here's the fix: Revolver :gabe: KillJoy
everlight44
Hmmm. Looking for more of a bad round now and then Vs fowling the weapon itself. I want it for teaching in the class. I still need the gun to work 99% of the time. I want them to encounter a misfire, so they have to clear it and keep engaging the threat. I added this to the class over the Summer and it helps tremendously for people who don't really get how a gun functions. Might be a little inconvenient but you could use a snap cap I've had mixed luck with Wolf ammo in my other guns (9mm, 7.62x39). If you are trying to get a failure you could try some of their ammo. It looks like the 22 is in a brass case and lead nose, so it wouldn't be a problem to shoot inside

stangsn95gt
Ive used empty shell casing in all my pistol calibers to simulate malfunctions never done it with a 22 but I'm assuming it will work and unlike snap caps you won't have to look for them when you're done. Like steve said just make sure you load their mags and they will have to do a tap/rack.
Dharris89
Neither my Ruger 10/22 or 22/45 liked Winchester Xpert ammo. It would jam all the time. It took years to use it all because I could only use it In revolvers. I've had great luck with the Federal in the bulk packs.
