ImUrOBGYN
Pretty cool. "A first look at the intelligent next-generation innovation, a 'see-through' immersive augmented reality view of the terrain, making it appear as it the front of the car disappears." Mallard
all the cameras and sensors in the world won't prevent my wife from rounding the corners of any vehicle she drives. Lol, development of autonomous cars is only being pursued so we can remove women from behind the wheel. Jk, don't let my wife see that. P.S. The augmented reality stuff is getting pretty amazing. Trouble Maker
So, is that a working prototype or a VR simulation for showing the concept? If that's a real working prototype, that's pretty cool stuff. Regardless, it's a cool concept. Lol, development of autonomous cars is only being pursued so we can remove women from behind the wheel. Not Brian
So, is the terrain displaying on some kind of HUD projected onto the inside of the windshield or what? A few days ago, when I saw this video and didn't post it, I couldn't find any information on where the actual display is.
Littleguy
I would think it's a HUD on the windshield, I can't imagine how much people would freak out if your dash/steering wheel went invisible.
Mallard
Yes. It's a HUD projected on the inside of the windshield.
ShoMeSomeFun
Just a HUD display? Well guess no going into ghost mode and doing 50 rolls.
