I know the basic pros and cons like they get cut up etc but you can also sand them down and refinish them. If you do have them where did you go to get them done and or how do you like them? Butcher block oil is everywhere. Lowes has it near the stains/and wood oils/ alcohol& acetone. The more frequently you use the cutting board the more oil saturation.
