2006 Saturn Ion Redline

Well throwing my baby up for sale. Would really prefer it goes to another enthusiast who treats the car right as opposed to some idiot 16 year old. So trying forums first.

Car is a 2006 Saturn Ion Redline, it is the Competition Edition which includes foglights, comp. edition wheels, LSD, and a steering wheel mounted Ladder tach/boost gauge. For those who do not know, the Redline is basically Saturn's version of the Cobalt SS (the supercharged one). Almost all the parts are identical between the two cars.

Power windows and such, 6 CD changer with Aux port, Sunroof, and Recaro seats. Car is a quad coupe, front 2 doors open normally and rear has 2 doors that open suicide. (Insurance usually considers it a 4 door)

Car currently has just a tick under 56k miles and might go up slowly. I am the second owner of the car and bought it almost 3 years ago with 23k on it. Since I have owned this car it has been garaged and has not seen snow. Heck, I try to avoid rain in it when I can.

Carfax is clean on the car.

Current Modifications:

KN Typhoon CAI

Badmab Shorty Header

ZZP 3 Inch Catted Downpipe

ZZP 3 Inch Catback (with chambered resonator)

--Downpipe is welded to the Catback. The connection from the downpipe to the catback is common for exhaust leaks, so I had it welded instead. Welding/Install was done by IPS--

ZZP Fuel Injectors, 80s

Smoothflow 2.7 Pulley

CX Racing Duel Pass Heat Exchanger (Custom Mounted by IPS)

Custom Dual Pass endplate

E85 Tune by Alan McClure. (in my opinion one of the top LSJ tuners in the country. This tune is set up for a nice mix of power and reliability)

AEM Uego Wideband (Red lighting)

Autometer Digital EGT Gauge (Red)

A dimmer set up for the EGT Guage

Aeroforce Interceptor (Red)

JCS Dual Gauge Pod

Custom Gauge Pod

Antenna relocate

OTTP Stage 1 Rotated Transmission Mount

Nightshaded Taillights/Corner Lights (can be removed easily if not your taste)

Continental Extreme Contact DWS Tires (About 95% tread life left)

I DO NOT have many of the stock parts left but will include a GMS2 pulley (3.062) if you wish to change to a gas tune along with any stock parts I can find.

The ignition recall will be done on the car this week. Parts still on order for the power steering recall.

If the car is not sold within the next months or so, I do plan on doing a trunk swap for a wingless trunk in the same color. If new owner buys car prior to swapping the trunk, I can put you in contact with the guy who want's to swap if you'd like to lose the wing.

Current 'Bads' for this car. I'll list everything I can think of.

One wheel is curbed

Front passenger side of bumper has some paint scrape and a tiny crack (near the bottom)

Driver side fender has a tiny crack near bottom

The ABS/Ebrake light like to pop on occasionally, sometimes they stay on and sometimes just a quick flash. (I've had three shops look at this problem, scanned the ABS with a tech2 multiple times and have never found anything wrong.)

Minor rock chips and the like

The JCS pod has some minor wear and tear on it. JCS will fix these for free, I just haven't bothered as most of the tear is hard to see.

Bumper Scrape

Car is located in Lancaster Ohio.

I'm asking $9,000 which is what I owe on the car.

Not interested in trades and I'm not parting out.
