Lauren
Ok the time has come to pull the trigger. I have narrowed it down to these for cars. 2004 audi allroad 2.7t 2007 bmw 530xi Wagon Nissan armada/qx56 Honda Ridgeline I need a practical daily driver with the option to put two child seats in the rear and my boxer. I have done pro's and con's on all of them but welcome second opinions and experience if you have owned one before. As far as mods go none of them will see more then suspension, tint and wheels. Littleguy
I'll say this today because I was talking to a couple of car guys that own them. Something about the Ridgeline makes their owners fall in love with them. Every time I meet someone who has one they tell me they plan on driving it to 300K+ miles. Lauren
The ridgeline is the wild card. Never would have thought about one but guy lives next to me has one. He loves it and the looks have grown on me. I also like the trunk in the bed to throw a stroller or golf clubs.

PRD2BDF
I would go with the Honda. Its more reliable out of the choices and I like them myself. Its like the Saab to me, no one really likes them until they own one and they're in love.

PRD2BDF
A Saab 9-3 sportcombi may be a good fit. Its available with either a 4 cylinder turbo or a V6 turbo. Manuals available with both. Available with AWD and stick too.

Stretch
Another vote for the Ridgeline. I used to drive one around at an old job and I really liked the thing.
SRTurbo04
ridgeline LOL I vote the audi.
Not Brian
My buddy drove me deep into PA in his Ridgeline. They're HUGE on the inside. His had 200-some thousand miles and he's only had to replace normal wear-out stuff.. nothing has ever broken on it.
STEVE-O
BMW first , run from the all road, and go with the ridge line only if you want something cheaper to repair and last forever but don't mind the sacrifice of luxary
jeffro
Miles/price/condition on the allroad?
Sturg1647545502
I was looking at the Ridgeline but then I found out it was essentially a Honda Odyssey chassis. That being said my buddy also loves his & only recently sold it for something more fuel efficient. What're your requirements? Price, color, millage, year, must have equipment/models? How far are you willing to travel?
Crossle
I would pass on the Armada/QX56 and the Audi.

Geeesammy
Fuck owning a Nissan product. Armada's are just tanks and gas hogs. For how big they are te interior lacks in room. A bunch are having navigation unit issues now and the replacement parts if you can find them new are $1,000-$1,200. None left in the states, this also affects the radio in some cases. Not to mention they all rust terribly underneath and the rear wheel wells rust easily as well. That said the drivetrain is solid at least.... I'd go for the Honda. German products LOL
Nicklz
I just made the same purchasing question, eer well minus the two kid part. Needed more room for work luggage and dog while traveling out of state every week for work. But I just purchased a 2001 audi a6 avant/wagon over a suv/grandcherokee. I like the wagon and it'll handle a ton better than an suv. Plus I felt at least at my price point I got more vehicle for the $$ going with a wagon than an suv. Lauren
Ridgeline is out. Just left the dealer wasn't for me. BMW wagon tomorrow it is! I really like the allroad but the nightmare of owning one is kinda scary since it will be my daily.
Stretch
If you're that worried already then why buy it?
