Casper Posted April 28, 2009 Report Share Posted April 28, 2009 Carie (CbrGirl, my wife)'s dad passed away Monday.Joseph H. Soltys, age 64, of Canal Winchester, OH passed away Monday, April 27, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 15, 1944 in Greensburg, PA to the late Frank and Lena Soltys and served in the U.S. Air Force. He will be remembered as an avid Steelers Fan and a man who loved his family. He is survived by his daughters, Joie (Greg) Moore and Carie (Ben) Stillman and their mother, Valerie Soltys; beloved grandchildren, Frankie and Nick Moore; Aunt Mary Soltys; Uncle Dominic and Aunt Bina LaCaria; numerous cousins. A memorial service will be held at 7pm Friday, May 1, 2009 at Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, 1636 Graham Rd., Reynoldsburg, OH 43068 where family will receive friends from 6-7pm; Pastor Aaron Holley, officiating. The Soltys family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. David Brandt and the caring staff of Mt. Carmel Hospice. Those who wish may contribute to the American Cancer Society in Joseph’s memory. Arrangements by Schoedinger Northeast Chapel (939-4558).
