I'm not a sunglass guy (I can't stand cheap ones but can never justify the price of some good ones becuz I'm a cheap-ass), so I'm curious why the Oakleys are $50 even though they're scratched? I've heard Oakleys are some decent shades, and as I mentioned I'm sunglass ignorant when it comes to brands, so help me out if you don't mind.

Oakley glasses let you keep your vision and add the tint.

 

Quality of what you see would be the same as the naked eye.

 

On a side note, Oakley replaced my shooting glasses that were 2 years out of warranty and I didn't even have the required proof of purchase. They took care of everything on their dime. If you get them give Oakley an email and see if they'll help you out.

I was the same way, but the moment you have quality sunglasses, you'll never go back. I was always worried I'd lose them and it'd be wasted money. 4 years strong and I haven't lost either my pair of Oakley's or Wiley X's.

I'm always worried about losing them. But, it's been a long time since I've lost a crappy pair. I guess I need to check out some nice ones and see if my opinions change.
