Cordell
So sorry for your loss. There have only been 2 dogs in my life that I just fell in love with, I'm very lucky to have the second. He's my best friend.
TTQ B4U
Trish, I'm so sorry for your loss. 16yrs is a damn good long life and I know with you she lived like a queen and enjoyed every minute of it. Know that we're thinking of you. Know too that as tough as today is, I don't believe you are less without her, I am pretty confident you are more because of her. She will always be with you. Now I must go wipe my face as I feel some moisture steaming down. -tim http://i.imgur.com/EhvtmqQl.jpgSave

Take comfort in knowing she's at peace now. Stay strong, friend!

Otis Nice
Sorry for your loss. Wife lost her dog a couple months ago. He was her wedding gift more than 11 years ago. We think a bird of prey got him. It's not easy. I remember having to put down my shepherd. Had him from 2 until I was 19. Still miss him years later. Second Gen
Trish, Lost my Lola last week to a nasty autoimmune disorder called Myasthenia Gravis. Like many above horribly missed part of our families. Enjoy the time you have left with her as they are short (My Newf was only 19 months). Good luck and wish you well making the decision
