Zx2guy19
Hey everyone, I bought a tub a few months back that was damaged so got a replacement. Below are pictures of the damage- this would be awesome for a rental property or for someone who was looking to do tile in the front. I have the pieces to fix it too, which helps. This tub is $866+tax new, left hand drain, part number 1948-LA-0 Link: http://www.lowes.com/pd_632232-20602-1948-LA-0_0__?productId=50239041&cm_mmc=search_google-_-Fashion%20Fixtures_rtc-5-_-Sos%20Bathing_885612204530-_-1948-la-0&k_clickID=060bab44-c2c4-4abf-9d13-9ce59ab5dce8 My contractor said you can put a piece of plywood on the front, tile it and never notice it's messed up except for the corner (which can be caulked). I am asking $40 picked up...want it out of my garage. Still has the plastic wrap on it! $20 more for delivery (I'm in Hilliard). 93 RX-7
In the picture of the top corner, is that a crack running clear across the top?
Zx2guy19
Yes, it's a hairline crack. I'll have to check tonight, but I don't believe it's a full crack all the way through, just a "surface" crack. Some caulk would fix it. I can confirm if you'd like. 93 RX-7
No. I don't want to deal with surface defects. Thanks anyway.
