My in-laws got this for the kid 2 years ago and she was basically too old to ride it at that time, but she wanted it and you know how grandparents are. She rode it a few times 2 years ago and it sat in my garage ever since. I charged it last weekend and it still works like a champ. It has 2 forward gears and reverse. Shows little wear. There is still a lot of life left in this.
