New - Westerville

Hey everyone, my name's Eric and I'm new to this site. I live in westerville now but grew up in Cincy. Throughout high school, I belonged to the Cincinnati Street Racing forum... Don't know if that's still around.

Anyways, being a grown up, haven't had much time to dedicate to a project. Late last year, I finally bought myself one - a '93 Nissan 240sx Convertible!! Although it's my first big project and I'm doing most of it alone, I hope to get it drivable by early summer. I plan on making it a pretty nasty street car!

Now that I know Cars and Coffee exists in Columbus, I'll start heading to that :)

Good intro - welcome. What are the plans for the drivetrain?

I plan on putting in a 2jz and likely swap the dual turbos for a bigger single. I'm about 80% sold on the CD009 (350z) transmission. Need to upgrade the diff, swap to 5 lug, and upgrade brakes. Other suspension components, not including coilovers, will likely have to wait a little unless I can source them cheaply.

Welcome to the board. Nice intro. I'm in Westerville all the time. Usually in a dark grey STi, and sometimes in a black FD RX7.

Best way to meet people on here is on Saturday mornings at Cars and Coffee, hosted in the parking lot of the Lennox theater, off 315. Many people will get together for dinner at Quaker Steak and Lube on Friday nights too.

Nice!! I'll keep an eye out for the FD, gotta love a good FD :fuckyeah:

I'll definitely hit up C&C as the weather gets warmer. Are you talking about the Quaker Steak & Lube in Polaris?
