Need help on SUV tires, step in.

2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Eco Diesel 265/50/20 tires. What are good all season tires for this Beast? Wasn't impressed with the stock Goodyears. How would Michelin Premier LTX be? Costco has 70 off a set of Michelin and only $.01/tire installation next week.

I don't know anything about those tires, but I do know that it would be hard to beat the deal that Derek at Best One would give you. Also, I'd give him a call for advice on pros/cons of different brands if he doesn't chime-in on this thread.

The Pirelli scorpion verse is a good all season and happens to be on a good discount from tire rack right now but should hurry before they are out of stock

From everything I've seen dealing with tires every day. Pirelli is good. The Scorpians are a nice all around tire and you should be happy with them.

 

That said. Michelin Premier LTX's are better. They are a very good all around tire and do very good in all weather. They're priced up there for a reason. Michelin has proven time and again to be one of the best tire manufacturers on the market

I have the mich LTX's on my Xterra, I went with the 6 ply LT tires and they are awesome. They do great in the rain, snow, and dry. Much quieter than the factory tires at freeway speeds too. Have about 30k on them and the tread looks new still.

It's been awesome. Have to keep Def in it, diesel mileage is awesome. Tows great, only had a few things fixed, there was a rear differential module that was replaced under warranty that would have been pretty expensive had it not been under warranty. We have 43k Miles on ours. We have the adaptive cruise control which is cool, the collision avoidance will scare the shit out of you when it engages. We have an Overland so it's optioned well and has a pretty nice interior. Kids love the rear entertainment.
