Welp both the inlets front and rear and got it ready to be pit back together. The rear turbo was warrantied out by BMW at some point as it looks new compared to front turbo. Even has new hardware.

Well this car is done now with the exception of paint and body panels. All engine stuff is done and its a blast to drive. It won't see the road though until its all put together. I'm in no rush. Here's how the engine bay turned out with the inlets moved to the passenger side. It sounds incredible.

Suppose I should update this. Car runs fantastic. All engine mods are done. I just picked this stuff up from the paint shop this morning. Going yo get it all mounted in the morning then she will be finished

The relocated inlet are dyno proven 40-60rwhp gains over stock location inlets. They are much more free flowing and do not taper down at all. So now its not sucking anymore hot air and losing horsepower versus OEM location.

 

Plus they look cooler haha
