Project XJ - Interior Detail

Tackled the entire interior today. Overall it was in excellent shape for it's age. No rips, stains, not much in the way of high traffic dirt even. The stock mats are still drying but they look brand new.

Today I steam-extracted all the carpet and seat areas and sanitized and cleaned all the hard surfaces. Looks and smells brand new.

Ignore the blue tinge on some surfaces as it's the LED headlight I'm wearing as a light source combined with a cell phone as the camera. The shine to the hard surfaces buffs-down upon wipe off of the sealant too but it has to set for 1hr.

Looks great, I will be contacting you in the spring for a detail job on Kathleen's car.

Absolutely!

Looks great as per the usual, Tim!

Thank you sir! I put the mats back in it and I gotta admit it really held up well. 85K miles may be low of it's age but it's still 85k worth of asses getting in and out of it and the seats both cushion / form and materials all look no more than 1-2 years old if not nearly new. Carpet too. Outside a few scuffs in the rear cargo area from typical hauling stuff use it's super clean and nearly perfect.

The previous owner had a really nice install done on the new headliner too. Light gray and oh-so-clean which really helps brighten up the interior.
