POS VETT
Already seeing the mod vs warranty issue, lol. I was told by a friend that this truck hits the speed limiter at 98mph. That'll kill quarter mile fun. Would just turning off the limiter show up as a "tune" at the dealer? Should my friend just have a full Dyno tune done? Thanks for any advice you can give him. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk Here is a weird fact. My '15 (5.3l FFV), '16 (5.3l), and '17 (6.2l) Sierras had a 98-mph (160 kph) speed limiter, but my '18 Silverado (5.3l) had a 112-mph (180 kph) speed limiter. Have you actually taken your truck to its top speed?

aussiek2000
If ECM isn't tuner locked, have dyno Brian raise the speed limiter. Remember that the tires and driveshaft still have a speed limit though.
cstmg8
Made a stop by Dynotune Motorsports today. Just stopped in to check it out and meet Brian. He hooked up to the truck and found that the ECM is not locked, so I have some decisions to make......
