Doc1647545523
I have a friend who has been spending much of the last few years out of state and how now returned and is motivated to get a car finished. Any assistance, advice, and recommendations for a mechanic or shop would be appreciated. The car is a 1992 Integra b18c type r that has been rebuilt to a 12.5:1 compression and is naturally aspirated. It's a clean rebuild with neat wiring. Eric at Crucial Performance has put a base tune in the car to get it running. However, there are many issues that need to be sorted out. The car's owner has a limited knowledge of auto electronics and is not confident he can remedy the current problems. These include the following: Air intake temp sensor not working. A new one was installed and that did not fix the issue. Another new one is in hand. Idle air control motor is not working. Throttle blade is sticking. It is a new 90 mm skuck II throttle body. Radiator fan is not working. Tach output wire needs to be added from the EMS to the tach. AEM EPM module and AEM wideband have connection issues. I realize that most good mechanics are reluctant to get involved in someone else's build, but the owner is interested in completing this project right and is willing to pay reasonable rates for the help. Thanks!
rfields
One of our guys has done this type of electronics troubleshooting for a lot of very serious machines (LMP2 to Global Rallycross) and does freelance work. I can check with him if he'd be willing to jump in?

Not Brian
Integra Type Rs weren't out in the US until 1997 so I'm assuming you mean it's got an engine swap? JDM ITR = B18C USDM ITR = B18C5 USDM GS-R = B18C1.
Doc1647545523
Thanks, Rob & Mace. Brian, I'm assuming that you're correct and that the engine was swapped.
