wheezy
Does anyone have recommendations for a 4 post car lift? Ill probably only put it up and down a few times a year. Is there any local hookup? Otherwise I think Im going to order this one from Best Buy Auto Equipment. They have a "sale" until Wednesday. https://www.bestbuyautoequipment.com/car-storage-lift-car-park-8-parking-lift-8000-lb-p/autolift-car-park-8p.htm
carl1647545492
No,but I would be interested to hear about how these work out day to day as I'm sure its less $$ than adding another space on to a existing garage.
PsychoticGaming
If you don't mind used check FB for one. I paid $1,000 for a used 12,000lb 4post lift that looks almost new.

Darkside
I have a couple of Backyard Buddies in my back garage. Not the cheapest lifts but seem to be very good quality.

Just need to measure ceiling height for what you are trying to stack. Totally worth the investment if you have the space for it.
POS VETT
I have an 8000-lb 4-post in my garage. It surely is a poverty-level way to add an extra parking spot. No idea about local retailer, I got mine from Greg Smith Equipment in IN.
ec_E92
Also have an 8K 4-post in my garage. It is.... life changing for both extra parking and service. I even use it to lift my spare winter/summer tires up to their wall racks for storage and just roll them onto the rack vs. trying to hoist up a ladder. Also got mine used for $1k. smokin5s
I have this exact lift, it's awesome, I'd recommend it to anyone. It's freaking heavy though so make sure to have friends to help set it up. If you have any questions about it, let me know.

wheezy
I got the lift installed. With the help from a guy at work and his trailer we got it home and unloaded in my barn. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=1055&pictureid=9431 Most pieces were manageable but the one with the cylinder under it was extremely heavy. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=1055&pictureid=9432 After working on it off and on all weekend I put my truck on it to test it out. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=1055&pictureid=9433

Vulcan900
Also interested to hear what you think of it. I am going to be buying one within the next 2 months.
wheezy
Its very simple to use and quality seems decent. The lift was $2200 and shipping was about $300. The only thing it didnt come with was hydraulic oil which I didnt realize so I had to get 3 gallons that was another $50. Overall Im happy with the purchase so far. For what I will be using it for, storage and occasional car work so it will only go up and down a few times a year, I think it will hold up for a long time. The casters that come with it make it really easy to move the lift around the barn. I did not think the installation instructions were clear on some things but I was able to figure it out.
