Cordell Posted March 26, 2009 Author Report Share Posted March 26, 2009 IMO cut-outs really just make noise, not much advantage compared to a good flowing exhaust. So if you want one, one after the merge would be fine especially if it is a good flowing y-pipe. I like the custom made y-pipes with a flowmaster or equivellant merge collector to 4 inch cutout, then step it back down to the cat-back. I already did the magnaflow cat back,now looking at header, y pipe and tuning options, but only got so much back from taxes to spend frivolously.
