I actually booked at the Red Roof Inn just a couple blocks away b/c I wasnt worried about parking and they had good reviews. Price was OK at best. It was $223 for 2 nights. I have their number if anyone wants it. The lady at the desk said they only had rooms with 1 bed left b/c they have had a lot of people call and book already. Any other suggestions? Guest MotoGP Tix Posted July 18, 2007 Report Share Posted July 18, 2007 I did a map of exactly how far the hotel we picked out is, by no means is it " close " but good around town access , there willing to make reservations already without a PRICE HIKE ( trust me this will happen within days )I dont even know how many of our guys I will talk into staying there.. MOST I assume http://www.tsbr.us/forums/showpost.php?p=125812&postcount=12Its only 8 miles thru the city, or 12 on freeway to the trackIt is also right at a PENSKE truck, ( right next door ) and there " closed " on weekends ,and forced we could park trailers there....It is also the closest hotel for the trip to home ( for you guys )Anyways , its kewl to see yer getting it together... If I booze it up at the track I could walk 2 miles, not walking 8. AND it is only 2 miles past IMS. So while you will drive 48 miles total back and forth to the races I will be driving 12 miles(added in the extra 2 miles out of the way) back and forth to the races. And only paying an extra $20.
