natedogg624 Posted July 24, 2009 Report Share Posted July 24, 2009 I watched your 8+min video with Steve following you...you were running a 1:50 pace, based on the video timer yea I did a stopwatch on that as video as well. in the last session of the day I did a :48.xx based on my friend using his stopwatch.I know I can do better as even then I still wasn't at the limit of my tires so I could have pushed harder and earlier coming out of the turns. I thought I was close enough for some good shots only to find that the crash was just out of range and appears very small on the video. SJC1000rr Posted July 25, 2009 Author Report Share Posted July 25, 2009 I used the suction cup mount on the tank and zip tied it down across the stabilizer. Otherwise it seemed to bounce and vibrate a lot by itself. And then put the adhesive mounts on my old clear windscreen and on on the rear plastic so it can face backwards. SJC1000rr Posted August 1, 2009 Author Report Share Posted August 1, 2009 Just make sure you test it out before going up to see if you need to make adjustments. I know I found the suctioncup mount shook pretty badly until I zip tied it down. And the rear mount vibrated/clicked until I superglued the clip on section to get rid of the loose play in it.
