If you're in one or are friends with someone who is, post up links to the music in this thread. I'm forwarding shit on to him. And this isn't just some fly-by-night guy. He's the former guitarist for Spout and Lovers and Liars down in Nashville. He got divorced and won custody of his boy, so he moved back up here to Ohio so his parents could help him raise his boy. Incidentally, since this thread will probably attract all the music-oriented members here, if there are any blues guitarists around who'd like to show me a few things, that'd be awesome. I've been getting more into it lately, but the fastest way to improve a new style is to play along with people who are already good at it.Feel free to PM or start a new thread about that, I'm not trying to hijack this one. They have now done 4 showcases for Capital Records. www.myspace.com/downplaymusicThey have plenty of support currently so I'm not sure they would be a prime candidate. Closer to Chad then Dustin but I know both of them.I put on a concert they played at outside of Ohio State next to the Ice House last September. The event was for Rock the Vote.
