My fiancee hates these shows, she never comes out. I respect your position as well because I didn't always like techno music.I just get a lot of flak from people who've never gone to a show, never gone to a party where that music is playing, etc. Most people, before being introduced to that set by people who're familiar with electronica, don't "get" it... trance, especially, is about letting the music alter your state of mind. I can be bone-sober and still have a GREAT time because I'm sensitive to what I hear and I can throw myself into that "trance" and go crazy all night. Not all people can.
