RSVDon
this is not what i expected.I've never had sushi. And what would you be expecting? Start small. If you like crab or shrimp, just find a basic crab roll or shrimp roll. It will be crab/shrimp, rice, and some rolling wrap. Add soy sauce and enjoy with some sake. the_silverfox
Best sushi I've had in Columbus was at the Edamame Sushi & Grill in Easton. Totally blew away any sushi I had in LA, no joke. They're located at 3946 Morse Crossing in Columbus. Order the "Buckeye" roll. It's their house specialty. alab32
Akashi is a great sushi bar in Dayton too. TASTEY!!!NinjaNick- The raw stuff, it doesnt taste raq. You can get like tuna or salmon, not bad at all. I thought the same thing before I actually gave it all a whirl. Now, I Love Sushi!!

Bad324
spicy crab rolls are my favorite, good choice. We had a sushi buffet about 15mins from me that we hit up at least once a month. For $20 all you can eat sushi its actually pretty decent place.

Aerik
I dunno if it's still there, but Otani was a great little sushi joint at the 161/ 71 intersection. It's been a few years, so they may be gone now.If they are, then +1 on Haiku.

RSVDon
Don hit me up next time you get this, looks pretty good. That's the cheapo stuff man. Picked it up at DLM and damn good for $6. I found a new favorite there. DLM brings a guy in to make new rolls every morning. Still doesn't beat a fresh hand roll at a restaurant, but it was tasty.
