NinjaNick
Does that work on a timer or does it know the station schedule? It knows all. You find an episode and set to record "all new" or "new and repeats". DVR is awesome! I never miss anything I like.

NinjaNick
My DVR is through time warner. You can get them through your cable or satellite company if you have cable or satellite.

NinjaNick
It's nice. I haven't watched commercials in ages! Pausing, rewinding live TV.
hue jass
I'll look into both TW and Direct. Right now I've got Insight cuz I get Speed. TW makes you upgrade to get it. But it doesn't make much dif since TW's got some good new plans now. I like Direct. They give you a lot.

jporter12
I have Directv with TiVo. Yes, actual TiVo, not their DVR+ crap. No HD with actual TiVo on Directv until next year though. I hear the DVR+ is ok, but I just like my TiVo's! You can also use TiVo HD with cable.TiVo FTW! (One would think I work for them or something!) Tomcat0403
I just got ATT and love it, DVR in each room of the house and it was only ten bucks more a month than time warner and you get a bunch more options and channels, not to mention TW customer service sucks ass
