What's up with Honda's noses?

First the CBR1k and now the VFR1200. They both look like they got punched right in the face during a bar fight. Don't get me started on the headlight on the VFR. Seriously, what gives? Honda used to have beautiful, sharp noses with separated headlights that always looked good.

Funny you popped in here, I personally think the D675 has the best looking schnoz on the market right now. Actually probably tied with the Ducati 1098/1198.

Seriously though, it goes without saying that the Italian bikes look the best, but out of the Japanese bikes, the 600rr and the R6 'look' the best. You just can't deny the mechanicals underneath the 1000rr's owl face. I'm a 'function over form'-guy anyway, so I'd rock one.

Honda gave up trying to make their bikes look good... cause they finally realized that Yamaha makes the best looking bikes of the Jap brands.

Honda, has plans to offer motorcycles with front end crumple zones, can not recall how it works or if it is even out but they do look kind of funky. Some how it will benefit the rider in a front end crash.

Agree.. it grows on you. My wife likes the new VFR and she rarely comments on bikes.
