max power
Sweet! Dont know anything about them, except that they are extremely expensive to own, operate and maintain, but would love to have one.Post pics.

NightRider
Awesome. Don't use it for bikes. Use it as a bang/bus/rv type thing...and make your money back.
gixxie750
only pic i have so far. Going to be trading my V-strom:mad: and cash for it,but i think it will be nice to have a rolling hotel. Its a 88 and has only 42,000 miles lol. max power
!st thing I'd do is check all the plumbing for leaks/cracks. Check out all the tanks, etc. Check the engine thoroughly. Just because it only has 42k doesnt mean that all kinds of rubber, gaskets, belts etc wont be dry rotted. Get as much maintenance records/info as possible from the PO. gixxie750
yea i am going to go through it as much as i know how. I really want to make sure motor/trany,brakes and drivetrain are not leakers. I am a little nervous to buy something that needs so much maintaining, but it should be worth it. max power
It will be a giant hole to throw money into. Good Luck.
ReconRat
Watch it down hill with RVs, they can get moving too fast before you know it. Just be careful, it's a little big rig. Yes, there's a story there. I had one shoot past me with all four wheels smoking, trying to slow down. He did, barely...Very cool to own an RV. There are usually good prices on them (and boats) when gas prices go up. Which is probably forever now.
gixxie750
I will drive so freeking slow everywhere lol. Thanks for the heads up!
Gump
Figure out which tank is the POO tank and which is the Gray water tank. Make sure you have a good poop tube to drain the poo tank. a leaker is a mess. You'll want to get some rv antifreeze quick and winterize the lines and stuff. pretty easy.P.S. make sure you have good leveling jacks. gixxie750
I have never owned a rv and have always wondered why they jack them up. Just so its level inside?
Moto-Brian
Also attach a big string of cash to the back of it. V8 is gonna DRINK the fuel. Hopefully no long trips or you are gonna wish it was a diesel...

Gump
Yes....it is supposed to be level. Normally there is a bubble level somewhere. Mine was a cheap quarter sized level and you put it in the fridgerator to check. The fridge won't run correctly if it's not level. Not sure if it was when it was running on propane that it mattered or electric. This was a long time ago though.Yep..it's still true.. found this.. http://www.rvfridge.com/levelingrv.htm Edited October 24, 2009 by Gump

nochknstrps
What about a toy hauler? I'm assuming you already have a truck for towing your bikes now. Maybe step up to a used diesel and a toy hauler, if you have the means.
