Either way, I won't support an ammendment that serves to create a beaucracy (at least not this one)... we need animal rights, not a committee that may create some. SWing'R Posted November 3, 2009 Author Report Share Posted November 3, 2009 Thanks for all the replys here, this issue still confuses me a bit though.With other issues its so much easier to understand what your vote means...Issue 3 for example...- a YES means you WANT casinos in Ohio- a NO means you do NOT want casinos in OhioI don't really understand what my YES or NO vote means on this issue.Oh Dept of Agriculture is for it, most farmers appear to be for it, Columbus Dispatch is against it. [/quote'] They will stay the way they are now for maybe another year. Then HSUS will probably propose their humane ways of treating animals and it will go to a general public vote. Because that little section I posted... this board is authorized to create standards based on providing LOCAL farms with jobs. From what I've read, doesn't voting YES, or passing Issue 2 MEAN that this board of 13 will be put in place?? Isn't that exactly the opposite of what you just said? You're saying you don't need this board, doesn't that mean you DO NOT want issue 2 to pass??Am I the only one that can't quite grasp this?
