BUT IF the bg shoots the old lady and you see him do it and he freaks out and swings the gun around and points it in your direction?! You are now in real danger and have the right to defend. But there are to many what ifs, best thing to do is get a handgun learn to use it get your chl and practice. Then go practice somemore, get to the point it is second nature. I try to go to the range every other week. I pratice target shooting, strong hand, weak hand, single hand both strong and weak. Then put atleast 2-3 mags down range using point and shoot, both eyes open not realy using the sight just aiming the gun off the barrel. If funds and more so the old lady allowed I would go once aweek. Your right you can never been ready but you can be as prepaired as possible.
