Congrats. Gotta change your sig now :D

i know i know lol

the only thing i really want to do to the sv is add a trail tech vapor, bar end mirror, and a seat cowl, or solo tail.

but who knows i may end up doing more than that in the end

The people that say "All I wanna do is..." usually end up doing a lot more than that. You know you wont stop there.

Suspension imo is crucial!

yeah, i dont want to throw a shit ton of money at it, but i was thinking about the gsxr front swap

I hear many guys are getting around $300 for the stock forks. So you can recoup quite a bit of money if you do decide to do it. I think the emulators, oil and springs ran me just under $300. You probably already know the cost though

powder coat, frame, swing arm, bars, rearsets, wheels, headlight bucket, etc.., black

paint all body work white

get flyscreen (painted white to match)

If a stock GSXR750 rear shock would work - you can have it free. It's never been used but maybe for a few hundred miles. I think the one I have is actually new... From 2005, though...

It works. Here's some help from SVR on the subject. http://forum.svrider.com/showthread.php?t=30707

You can also talk to Zach. He's been around Sv's a lot longer than I have and might know what works best on a 1 gen. I installed a Zx10 on a 1 gen and had to do some modding to the battery box and rear fender to make it fit right because of the reservoir .
