DGTL GRL Posted April 10, 2010 Report Share Posted April 10, 2010 (edited) I ride a 2005 Shadow Aero 750 (see sig pic).I have a crush though--- on the Honda ST (cc yet to be determined).Two problems--- I'm short- only 5' 1/2" (not even 5'2") -sport bikes are usually too tall for me. Oh, and there is of course the fact I don't want to fork out $9k right now.Anyway, any thoughts on the Honda Sport Tourers? Advice for midgets?Oh, and do you have a REALISTIC bike crush? Being just 5'5 as a guy I have found I just really don't fit a lot of the bikes out there. Its one of the reasons I do really like my buell. they made the scg just for shorter people. Its not the greatest at anything but it suites all needs reasonably well and even out-performs some specialty bikes in their own market. Powerful, handles well, removable luggage, decent wind protection............ great bike.......... I loved mine. I hope you find a way to get one! DAC Posted April 10, 2010 Report Share Posted April 10, 2010 I like the Triumph Bonneville - maybe getting one someday for my wife if she decides she's ready to upgrade from the teeny tiny Honda she's got now.With some bags, a windscreen and maybe an upgraded seat, would be a good little tourer.
