I got a new Hat.

My old Arai Haga has served well for four years. But the time has come to move on. With endless hours at work, and teh Interwebz, I found this sweet deal. It's an Alvaro Bautista replica Suomy Spec 1R. Granted, Alvaro is on a Suzuki, and will battle for last place each race, but it was clearanced. Shipping included, Suomy Spec 1R's starting at $249. Had to get glove too.

nice deal man!! make sure you wear those gloves....... mine are prob the reason i still have knuckles on my left hand!

nice. just keep track of those pivot covers for the face shield, they have a tendency to randomly fly off while riding.

After several days out with the lid, I can say it fits a bit more snug than my previous Arai Corsair, and better fitting than my XLite. It is much quieter than the Arai as well. As Obesityrules says, I've heard of the shield plates coming off, but no such shakes or ****les in this hat. Solidly made, and light. Happy boy.
