in the army i convinced a new private to go around to all the trucks and dozer's with trash bags collecting exhaust samples, labeling each one with the truck bumper number.

amazed when he came back to me with arms full of inflated trash bags i got him to take them to the first sergeant because "he needs those ASAP"

other good ones were " go get a hammer and check that dozer blade for soft spots"

"chem light batteries"

" go get a box of grid squares"

and yes we even got guys to search the chem closet for blinker fluid and elbow grease" some real t idiots join the army.
