alienpi
I'm thinking about renting an R1 down on the Dragon just for fun. http://sportbikes4hire.com/iceman/sites/sportbikes4hire.com/index.jsp
Casper
$2500 deposit. Ouch.
Zach
I'd rather have a 600 on the dragon. many of those horsepowers would be wasted on that road. And if I had an R1 on the cherohala, i'd be dead before I reached the peak.
Disclaimer
I'd love to setup a bike "co-op" business arrangement that would let participants ride other guys bikes and give you access to a fleet of bikes beyond the one you own, but to make the business model work in this environment, you basically need a large deposit which puts the whole idea out of reach for a lot of the target market. That and the location here (in NEO) sucks.I applaud the idea and hope they can make it work, location is everything for them.
CattaniAFJ
Deposit is huge...no thanks. Why couldn't they do the rental car thing and offer insurance?Besides, fuck $175/day...
alienpi
$2500 deposit. Ouch.On second thought, I'll pass on this. Plus they include this in their terms: "You agree not to perform stunts of any kind on your rental sportbike including but not limited to, stoppies, wheelies or burnouts." SAMBUSA
What benefit would you have gotten in comparison to your Buell?
alienpi
What benefit would you have gotten in comparison to your Buell?I just thought it'd be something different. Kind of like the second girlfriend. Even though her tits aren't quite as nice she's still fun to do.
SAMBUSA
Gotcha. If I had a choice of bike to take on the Dragon, it'd be the little 250. That thing would be wicked fun down there.
