You can ride whatever you want... there are guys on Honda Sabres, Harleys, and ATVs out there... they aren't even going to bat an eye at a Vulcan.

I know, I just want to ride something that could break 14.

inb4 not with your fat ass

Yea, I think the economy has taken its toll on the hillbillies that normally are found out there

I work for Summit Racing (not the track), and yeah the economy has. At the same time more people are messing with street cars/trucks/daily drivers at Summit rather than a dedicated racer.

I'm going to bump this to see if anyone is interested in meeting me out there tomorrow night. The 'busa is ready to click off some passes for the first time this year. If no one is interested, I probably won't go (no fun by myself), so post up or PM me.

It's going to be a warm one.

Bump - and thanks to whoever the Mod is that keeps changing the date for me -- You could probably just put (recurring) and I'll just continue to use this thread to bump/remind people.

If the weather is nice, I'm planning on running the Hayabusa this Wednesday (July 14th) and I convinced a couple other buddies to go -- so anyone here is interested, maybe I'll see you out there. :)

$12 race or watch.

hot norwalk nights for five bucks??

july 12, 2010

this wednesday, for one day only, summit motorsports park is turning

back the clock two full decades! Hot norwalk nights this wednesday will

be $5.00 race or watch!! Read that again - $5.00 race or watch!! -.

The last time you paid that little to go racing was 1989! If you can’t

remember that far back, let us help you. In 1989, you went to the gas

station and paid $1.12 for a gallon of gas, and you paid 96 cents for a

dozen eggs.

We can’t help you with the eggs, but we can guarantee one heck of a

good time for only $5.00! Tell everyone you know about this, because

once bill comes to his senses, we may never see an offer like it again!

you can’t even turn the television on any more for $5.00! Gates open at

5:00, and time trials roll out at 5:30. With entry prices this good you

could afford to bring your own cheering section. Summit motorsports

park this wednesday, july 14. You know there's going to be a party out

here over this! be there!

:nono:

I may try to head up that way? What time? I'm too lazy to go back thru the thread and look

Time Trials START at 5:30, so I'd like to get there just slightly before that. I'll probably end up rolling in there around 5:30 though since it's tough to leave work early.

Good luck. Not like you'd need it.

What are YOU doing tomorrow night, stud? The ZX10 needs dusted off for some straightline action...

Really wish I didn't have class :(

I think the last time I was at Norwalk was actually '89.... Literally. Buddy's brother was racin' his '72 Camaro SS at the Super Chevy weekend. It was soooo freakin' hot that weekend
