NinjaNick
I know in Texas they read in three digits. Lingenfelter Corvette + Me + Empty Road = Speed sign staying up longer. Why would ANYONE let you drive a special Vette such as those? ...or a Vette at all? What's the story?
RSVDon
Why would ANYONE let you drive a special Vette such as those? ...or a Vette at all? What's the story?I have friends. Not the first Vette I've driven. My family and friend's families have them.So far I've driven a:1968 C3 350/350 4-spd Coupe1998 C5 Vert1998 C5 Coupe LPE1989 C4 Vert1998 C5 CoupeBy far the most fun to drive was the 68. No power anything except brakes. 4-spd. Side pipes. All numbers matching car with a 350ci 4-bbl fed motor and 350 HP. That car was just so pure. You didn't go fast, but you loved every second driving it. And when you got the secondaries open past 3000 rpm she just sings! The C5's are impressive though just based on mechanical grip and pure speed. They accelerate with such linear pull that you don't realize you're doing 130+ until your hair feels like it's being pulled out. (Vert only. lol)Given the choice, it'd be hard but I might just take the '68. Edited June 13, 2010 by RSVDon

Steve Butters
No, but it sure will go faster than one! j/k no arguments from me...itd take a lot to push a vmax to 168mph...even the new ones are solid 140 bikes, you can squeeze about 135 outta a gen
