flounder
Alzheimer's is no fun to deal with. Ive seen it a few times in our family and have serious concerns that I will have it one day as well.

serpentracer
it's really sad to watch someone go through this.my great grandfather had it. he got to the point he wanted to go outside thinking it was the bathroom door. didn't know any of us anymore etc.he was just out of it totally. like a who other person without a clue what's going on around him. basically he became a infant in his mind.it doesn't run in the family. he's the only one on record that had it.
