Warlock
Several people have mentioned it and it's true. Carry what you are comfortable with. I don't think there is anything wrong with a wheel gun for an inexperienced CCW holder. A gunfight is no place to learn about double feeds or stovepipes. So a wheel gun makes sense to me for someone who can then spend time learning and practicing with their semi-auto.

El capitan
Performance center smith and seasons can be had with an 8 shot cylinder. I currently have a 686 plus - 7 shot and I love it.
chevysoldier
Try to get with some people next time they shoot. I'm sure most off of OR members who shoot are willing to let you shoot theirs. If you are ever at a shoot I go to, you are more than welcome to shoot my stuff.

magley64
Do people really carry around speed loaders casually? I don't carry at all but I can't imagine the world of hell I would have to be in to need more than 5 or 6 shots.my friend just got a 8 shooter, he's very proud of it. Or just wear your shirt out with about any rig. I used to worry about printing, but I don't really give a shit any more.

If my shirt hangs down, it isn't that noticeable unless you are looking for it or a trained eye sees it. It's DeSantis Brand. Was like 15 bucks and works great. It is nice and snug so it won't fall out if I run. View image in gallery View image in gallerySame.
