Uncle Punk
When you get your license renewed take your DD214 with you so the armed forces logo can be put on your license. Supposedly this will suffice as proof at Home Depot for the 10% discount and others may honor it as well. This is what I was told when I had my license renewed. I run veteran plates and they still made me bring my DD214 to them again to get this put on my license. I have not tried this so I don't know how it works. InyaAzz
I got a foot long (not a 6 inch) today at Subway in Lorain. It's probably because she thought I was black.
chevysoldier
My daughter and I ate at The Nutcracker in Pataskala last night. I had me a really good angus cheesburger, and a slice of pumpkin pie for free. I will be eating there in the future. Vets get ANY meal for free, not just a small selection. Cypress
Yeah, I went to Nutcracker with a group of friends and there was no limit on the bill. My bill came to $27 for me and my girl and she's not even a vet and they didn't even care. It was all free. Great place.

Cypress
The weird part about Golden Corral was that they gave people an option to share a table with random people to speed up the line. That's a little too awkward for me.
chevysoldier
The weird part about Golden Corral was that they gave people an option to share a table with random people to speed up the line. That's a little too awkward for me.If I was alone, I'd consider doing that depending on the person/people. If I was with my family, probably not.I wasn't able to go since I had class for work. My wife, who is also a veteran, took my daughter and she said the wait was absolutely insane. She called one other Golden Corral and it was the same way so they ended up just coming home. Cypress
I was in line for a total of 26 minutes. Not too bad for a free meal for both me and my girl.
