Chrisoh
I used to Ride to school in Oxford as long as it was going to be 40 degress and up and no water on the roads.those days are over. Once you have done it enough being cold while riding just isn't worth it.

NinjaNick
Roads too cold for the tires to be sticky enough for safe fun. Too much salt too. You can keep your cold riding days. I'll stick with my 55+ days. Hey where is the post from the guy that my post was a reply to? It was right above my post, but now it's gone. My post looks random now. There was someone that posted right above me that mentioned they were out riding in the 20 degree weather.

playerpro153
hey jamie, I'm a resident in cincinnati but a student at ohio state. In the spring I bring my bike down there regularly. I know a bunch of good twisties in the indian hill and batavia areas but I don't know anybody down there that rides. When it warms up get your bike together and we can hit the turns. Chrisoh
Batavia has a couple decent roads, but Northern KY has the only ones that are extended twisties. Some of the side roads off 50 in batavia are ok for a mile or two.But 227 in KY is a good 15 miles of nothing but twisties.
goldnchild000
Thats how Rt 8 is... and if anyone has been to Rabbit Hash off of Mnt. Zion that is an AWESOME ride!! Oh and when you get there, if its a weekend there is about 500 bikes down there!
jermattak
rabbit hash is sick!
playerpro153
Rt 8 has a bunch of branching roads off of it for the twisties. I know a few country roads down there that a common road bicycle race takes place. Plenty of elevation changes. I've only been there on my bicycle, but when it warms up, I'll have to check it out. Oh, and these roads are well paved and rarely traveled by cars.

Chrisoh
But so far everytime I have went to rabbit has there has been gravel in 60% of the corners. That hill though is nasty.
goldnchild000
Yeah when you go to the Hash the roads are a little beat up... But if you go enough you will learn where and its easy to ride then.
