Lost1888
I looked for the old gps thread and couldn't find it. Anyways I replace my Lowrance Xog with a Garmin nuvi 755t. Only used in the car so far but it's going to be nicer than my Xog I can tell already. Here's the link to where I bought it- http://g.factoryoutletstore.com/details/11071/garmin-nuvi-755t.htmlAll I needed to change over mounting was the Garmin Ram cradle for $10 at mountguys.Pictures-Looking forward to another year of getting lost. Lost1888
Not the most ideal way but it works,Fused hot to the license plate light, So it shuts off with the bike.Negative pigtail to batt. ground. Sae end of the connection under the seat, under the tank bra, one of the only reasons I still have it.Plugging in outside the tank bag under the magnetic flap, cover by rain cover when needed.Into a power plug splitter inside the tank bag.The the devices plug into the splitterBlackberry cell phone and GpsOne of these days I'm going to make a fuse panel under the back seat with a 12v in the trunk and 3-4 12v power supply to the tank bag for heated gear, gps and phone. With an extra for camera if I need it. Just haven't put it high on the list yet. Edited March 5, 2011 by Lost1888 Found pictures
JStump
Something you can do if you have a battery tender is put the permanent ring terminals on and just get or make a cigarette socket with an SAE connector on the end so you can just unplug the battery tender and plug in your cir lighter. Same concept though. Just two different outlets is where I'm at now.

Might have to add some straps to the magnetic one to make it work for me. Here is the one I found. http://www.motorcyclegear.com/parts/luggage/tank_bags/rapid_transit/recon_19_strap_mount_tank_bag.html
