jschaf Posted March 8, 2011 Report Share Posted March 8, 2011 Welcome to the site. Since you now aren't forced to do the 2 up thing this opens up a whole new world of possibilities to you. My wife also rides & didn't start till she was 46 years old. She started off on a Suzuki S40 (650cc single cylinder cruiser). This was a nice bike to start off on but after the 2nd season the pegs started to scrape so she moved up to a Ducati Monster 696. Good luck.
