gidet
This is awesome.I like how it comments on the goofy decorations on their vehicles. It doesn't seem like he spent a lot of money either and had quite the adventure. Thanks for posting this!

John
This is awesome.I like how it comments on the goofy decorations on their vehicles. It doesn't seem like he spent a lot of money either and had quite the adventure. Thanks for posting this!in the Q&A thread i think he said it ended up costing him around 5K total.6,366 NOK (1,159 USD) before leaving (vaccines, visas, MC battery, Carnet de Passages, international driver's license).23,174 NOK (4,220 USD) during travel. This excludes the plane rides to Bangkok and Melbourne. Also, I wrecked my motorcycle at the end, and it was probably worth 1,500 USD.regarding the "wrecking" of his bike. he said he couldnt sell it in nepal unless he paid the import tax which would have been about what the bike was worth. didnt want to just leave it in case it came back to bite him legally. so it was registered as "wrecked" and used for parts Edited June 26, 2011 by John
