Need automotive assistance ASAP

Need to replace the battery terminals on my truck. They have corroded, to the point that I have to redneck engineer a way to get home from work this morning. The old terminals won't come off, so I'm probably going to have to cut them. I have the new terminals, just need the tools and some help.

Here's the ball buster, I work third shift, and I hope I can get this done before I go in tonight.

I'll be up around 4, and will check here first to see if any of you folks can help me out. I live on the southwest side of Columbus.

Wrong corner of the cowtown. I'm up on the NE side of town, at work where I have all that would be needed until about 6 tonight, if you wanted to drive that far.

A redneck engineering solution I've used in the past. Drive a steel screw in between the post and cable end (If it's the clamp on type). To remove the corrosion pour a can of coke on the terminals.

i think they make a terminal cleaner where it shaves of the oustide and makes them a bit smaller but new again. you could try a wire brush sand paper combo as well.

Terminals are toast, can't clean them anymore. Need to replace.

Wire cutters, razor blade, a wrench, and cable ends should be all you need. If u can redneck a way, I'm sure u could put new ends on

i did the screw trick on my car two years ago. haven't had a problem since. :-)

Indeed got it done myself. Decided just to get my own tools. This just gave me a nice excuse to pick up a nice 75 piece ratchet set.
