mgbgt89
I've got my bike torn down right now to replace the 40 year old gaskets that were no longer doing any sealing whatsoever. I figure since its apart, and its got 40K miles, I should probably get new valve guides, seals, and the valves lapped. It's getting honed and ringed too, but i'm doing that myself.I feel like i might be able to do it myself, but i plan on keeping this bike for many more years, and would like a professional to tackle the head work. Can anybody point me in the direction of a shop that won't mess this up? I don't wanna trust just any old machine shop to do it, since the valves are so tiny, and parts are extremely hard to get if they mess it up.
