APCh8r
+1 for spiegler, they are local (Dayton) and you have all kinds of color options.
c7fx
I have used Hel brakes for years and you can actually call them and have custom lines made for the same cost as the ones pre made. At least thats how They used to be when I had my last set made.
2talltim
Go with spiegler http://spieglerusa.com/brakes/cycle-brake-line-kits.htmlhum...they are about $30 more for both sets but i do like me some local customer service..everything else seems to be about the same
2talltim
looks like both are custom...hel in across the pond spiegler is local so the shipping only puts them $9 difference and the locals would get here quicker
APCh8r
You won't be disappointed with the Spiegler lines. Plus the banjos can be spun around so you never have to worry about binding.

2talltim
http://www.spieglerusa.com/brakes/cycle-brake-line-kits.htmlI seen the MSRP on their site ...but there is no way to order direct from there
2talltim
OK i think im 90% going with the spiegler's ...next question is should i go with the over the fender or the race set up...the race set up would require fabing some hose brackets but is suposed to offer better performance...on the other hand im not exactly a road racer
APCh8r
Most people go with the 2 line alternate, you don't need brackets to hold the line, it won't get in the way of anything. The 2 line alternate will come with a new banjo bolt also.

mello dude
I'm running spiegler on my VFR800. Mostly I just figured out line length, and what fittings I wanted and just showed up at their store. A very good way to go. - Nice that they are in my backyard too. http://spieglerusa.com/brakes/cycle-brake-line-kits.htmlHere's my over anal approach. I used a FZ1 brake manifold and mounted it at the lower triple with an angle bracket, and separated the lines into 3. I just wanted it to be neat, neat, and clean. - Did the job. - Used a pressure switch for the brake lights. I had two bikes side by side with the same brake pads to compare. There is the possibility that something else was off in the MC or calipers, but I feel it might be increased compressibilty due to higher volume of fluid.Anyhow, this is my opinion, don't care to argue, just saying if I buy SS lines in the furture, they will be "over the fender."
